Just being born with a hard outer shell automatically means you are brave.
After all, you wouldn’t come with extra built-in body armor if you didn’t need it!
But not being covered in something warmer, cuddlier, often means that other beings miss perceiving the softer side of you.
In other words, all they see of you is that cold, hard outer shell.
They don’t see your soft neck skin, your sweet gentle breath, your wide whirling red eyes, your friendly orange cheek patches.
They don’t perceive how the crafty and sometimes cruel world can get to you, causing your sensitive inner heart to cower back behind your brave.
So when someone finally does get it – does see you for all that you are – it is such a relief.
You can open up the box, let down your guard, let the love you need in at last.

Oh my gosh: Bruce is incredibly cute 🙂
Oh thank you on Bruce’s behalf – I can’t help but agree 😊
Well I just swooned…again!
It happens a lot around here too! 💕🧡🐢
