Sheltering in place looks different for everyone. But it may feel more alike than different – down deep on the inside where only we can see.
In fact, some beings have to shelter in place most of every single day – and not because of something globally scary that starts with the letter “C.”
They shelter in place to avoid becoming lunch!
This is a worthy reason for sure. When you are small and oval-shaped and everyone agrees you taste delicious, there is lots of motivation to opt for “stealth mode” whenever possible.
For extra incentive (just in case it is actually needed), the better you get at sheltering in place, the better your chances are of getting lunch without being lunch.
Of course, laying low is a lot easier when the whole panicked planet isn’t trying to crowd in there with you.
As all your normal hiding places get filled up, you may have to get creative to find safe haven.
