The decision to join an interspecies flock is not one to be taken lightly.
There will be challenges.
For sure.
Take communication, for example.
You won’t be able to have any – at least not at first.
Because of this, every single aspect of flock life will seem to proceed at a glacial pace, with each member studying the other and no one being quite sure they are on solid or even safe ground.
Over time, however, you will make little exciting breakthroughs.
Notice things you do share in common.
“Eyes” are one such thing. As it turns out – yay! – everyone in your flock has them.
And “eyes” are a great communication tool!
In fact, some even say they are windows of the soul….or something like that.
And since your (whirling, red) eyes are an especially cute part of you – one of many especially cute parts of you – you can use them especially effectively to get your flock mates’ attention.
To convey trust. To ask for shell pats. Or extra organic steamed salmon….”Grandma’s,” of course. Or to simply share love.

Oh Bruce, I’ve swooned again!
It’s a real hazard with so much cuteness! 😂🧡
