Life can get pretty interesting when your flock consists of many different species.
For instance, some of you are big. Some of you are small.
Some of you have feathers. Others of you have shells. Still others of you have neither (poor things).
Some of you have warm blood. Others of you have cold blood.
But there is one thing that you all share in common, something that can make you totally forget all about those other surface differences between the cockatiel, box turtle, redfoot tortoise and homo sapiens in your flock.
Here, there is something to be said for living in the humid, semi-tropical south, where the damp moist air keeps your fine and delicate skin looking colorful, youthful, and – in most flock members’ cases – very, very cute.
Because when the damp dries up, so do you.
Send Bruce some humidity (and some love – Bruce loves love!

And we love it. And you tell us you love it. Yay!
But if you would like to “pass the waffles” (or the mealworms, or the salmon) and gift your favorite flock member with a tasty treat, our beaks are wide open and grateful! 🙂
