Living life in an interspecies flock really wakes you up to all the variety in the beings of this world.

Some are quite short – like you – and have a shell, but they still look very different.

Some are quite short, but are very long and covered in fur.

Some are small and so loud and covered in feathers.

And some are tall but have no shell, no feathers, no fur – nothing.

These beings are the oddest.

Yet every day, you wake up and know this might be the day your path crosses with a new species you haven’t met yet.

When this happens, you always want to stop and exchange greetings and learn more about them – but only if they don’t look hungry, of course.

You might just be out and about, soaking up some sun on a rare warm winter day, and suddenly you cross paths with a whole new species!

When this happens, it is always nice to stop and visit awhile and learn more about each other – with your MommyGuard in tow just in case visiting turns to lunching!
