Being a shellebrity has its perks.

It also has its drawbacks.

This is especially true when you are a manly and oh-so-masculine male box turtle who is currently unattached.

“Keeping your options open” is the technical term.

You may try to hide your single status, but the lady box turtles have their ways.

Sooner or later they are going to find out and then your restful, placid, well-fed life as a solo bachelor will be o.v.e.r.

Unless you can think up a clever disguise…..or better yet – a cloaking device!

Now you see the oh-so-manly and masculine single male box turtle….
…and now you don’t!

  1. I knew I was going to be fascinated with pearl when I found your blog because I have a male white faced cockatiel with a unique name too. I never expected to be so fascinated with your turtle and tortoise. They are truly amazing beings.

    1. Oh wow – I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying Malti’s and Bruce’s adventures too! I really wasn’t sure when we started (Pearl still isn’t a huge fan of the idea) but your feedback just makes my day! Thank you! 🙂
