There is something to be said for using your voice.
Then again, there is also something to be said for using your box.
In other words, it isn’t always the right time to stand up and be counted…especially if what’s doing the counting looks hungry.
Just as there is a time to look for lady box turtles and a time to repopulate the world with baby box turtles with bright orange cheek patches, so too is there a time to hibernate.
To take a load off.
To snooze a little (or a lot).
Going inwards can not only save your bacon – so to speak – but it can also refresh and renew you for all the good that yet awaits you.
By going inside your box when that feels right, you learn to trust yourself, trust the seasons of life, trust the timing of all that is good on this small round blue and green planet.
After all, if you have a box conveniently located right above your own (adorable, olive-colored) head, clearly you must be meant to use it!
