Any shelled being who can grow from silver dollar-sized to football-sized in just four years deserves some serious kudos.

But big as you may get, there will always be something bigger.

Like your grandparents’ enormous lawn, for example.

Big lawn, little tort.

After foraging for awhile, it can feel quite intimidating – not to mention exhausting – to look around and see you still have so much foraging left to do!

When this happens, the best thing for it is to find something photogenic to stand next to, look very cute, and wait for your mommy to bring you your favorite – “hand-fed lunch.”

A tuckered out shelled being finds the perfect “photo op” backdrop to attract her mommy’s attention and, hopefully, a special delivery of “hand-fed lunch.”
