There is a reason shelled beings have a reputation for preferring solitary life.

When you find choice victuals, you don’t have to share.

Flock life has its merits, but sooner or later you are going to find yourself staring down that time-honored flock ritual called “waiting your turn.”

If tortoises were meant to take turns, they wouldn’t all be born so cute!

Malti demonstrates the problematic “cuteness” that makes it so hard to master “taking turns.”

Luckily, there are some workarounds. For example (and you learned this one from your wild and woolly furred brother), there is “begging.”

Not only can begging be effective at skipping ahead in line, but it can also net you extra treats when you get to the front!

Do you have any begging tips for Malti?

  1. Seems like Malti is looking for attention with the hope of getting a snack also. So adorable🐢🐢💖🌻

    1. If there is one thing we can count on in life, it is that if there are snacks to be had, Malti will always be first in line 🙂
