As a small shelled being, it doesn’t take much time living in an interspecies flock to realize your large shell-less flock member needs a lot of togetherness time.

Being more of a laid-back sort yourself, this can create some logistical headaches.

For example, sometimes she will show up, eager for more of your signature brand of “cuteness,” right when you are in the middle of snarfing up snacks or settling down for (yet another) restful nap.

These constant schedule interruptions can really take their toll.

Luckily, there is an easy fix!

All you need to do is hire a “stand-in” (a technical term).

Hiring a “stand-in” is a perfect strategy for when your already packed snacking and napping schedule just can’t fit in any more togetherness time with the needy large shell-less being in your flock.

Once you have your stand-in trained and up and running, the next time you see your shell-less assistant heading your way, you can quickly delegate your “cuteness” responsibilities and sneak away with no one the wiser.

Malti gives her look-a-like stand-in instructions for displaying “maximum cuteness” the next time the large shell-less being heads in their direction.
