When you choose to live in an interspecies flock, you will quickly start to notice key differences between you and some of your flock mates.
Take compliments, for example. Your flock mates span the gamut in this department.
While your large shell-less assistant becomes visibly uncomfortable upon presentation of the (admittedly rare) compliment, your small feathery brother doesn’t bother to wait for others to compliment him.
Why wait when you can (repeatedly, continually) compliment yourself – and at full volume?
And then there is you, the redfoot tortoise flock member. It is obvious to you where your flock mates have missed the boat yet again.
But you know something they do not. If you just sit quietly and wait and look extraordinarily cute, the compliments will seek you out all on their own!

Then you can chill and just hang out, secure in the knowledge that you belong together.

Want to send some compliments Malti’s way? They will thank you for it! 🙂

Aw! Her mommy’s thoughts precisely!😊
