Living inside with your large shell-less assistant and small feathery brother is not for the faint of constitution.

Talk about a dynamic duo.

For starters, there is all the shrieking.

It can be enough to make you want to pull the covers over your head and hunker down and hide.

Talk about a cacophony. Clearly no one ever told your small feathery brother that silence is golden.

And yet there are perks to life indoors – perks meaning snacks.

Even if the only thing showing about you is your nose, that is enough.

Your keen tortoise nose can pick up the delicate waft of a delicacy, transmit the message to your tummy, and in no time at all you can be out to nab it before another predator gets there first.

That keen tortugan nose always knows….and it will never let you down.

Which is bigger, the tortoise or the lettuce leaf?
