Some days you may wake up and feel like the whole world is just spinning.

(And in fact, the whole world actually is spinning – once per day like clockwork.)

But spinning has never worked that well for you. It just isn’t your jam.

You prefer to take life at a more leisurely pace…stopping to sniff here, scope there, grazing and browsing in one moment and then the next, making each moment wait its turn to get to you like proper moments should.

So when whole days’ and weeks and months worth of moments suddenly start hurling themselves at you all at once, it can quite naturally feel like too much.

You try to talk to them, explain about “manners” and “waiting in line” and “taking a number.”

They don’t listen.

More moments arrive on top of the ones that are already there, each of them jam-packed with news, updates, changes, none of which you a) wanted or b) ordered.

Here, it is always the right time to lay low. Take a load off.

Take your cue from your large flightless feathered relatives and stick your cute red-dotted head way down deep where the sun don’t shine.

If the moments can’t see you, they can’t find you and bother you with all their unwelcome news.
