When you first pop out the top of your small round white escape pod, you get so much attention.
So much love.
Everyone “oohs” and “aahs” over how cute you are, how pint-sized and perfect.
You get lots of lap time. Photo moments. The freshest and best of everything.
Then you get bigger. And bigger. And bigger.
One day you go to lay down in a nearby lap for your usual healthy helping of love and are told you are “too big” for this activity now.
As if.
While it is true you are much bigger on the outside, you still feel little on the inside.
And you still need just as much love.
More, even.
Because now you have a lap to share, too, and you want to make sure it is always fully stocked with fresh love – to receive and to give.
