When you are born slow and low to the ground, you are easy to miss.

This can sometimes be a good thing.

Since the majority of the other rungs on the food chain o’ life are occupied by beings who are taller than you, you can more easily fly (well, crawl) under the radar when lunchtime rolls around.

But sometimes being so short and small is not always a good thing.

There is a difference between being mostly solitary and being all solitary.

In other words, you need love too.

In these times, you really appreciate the (very) tall beings who specifically look out for you and make sure you know you are noticed and treasured.
