There is no such thing as an un-creative individual.
In fact, have you ever noticed there isn’t even a word for a being who lacks creativity?
This is because the word for that being is “lunch.”
In other words, just surviving through the lunch rush can take some pretty fancy footwork.
To get creative is to get to live at least until dinner time.
And then it is time to get creative all over again.
Yet somehow the bigger you get, the less kudos you get for your creative genius.
No one even seems to notice anymore, much less stops to applaud and give you a gold star (or – even better – a printed piece of crispy, crunchy paper) when you break out your latest creative idea.
So be it. You are still here. Lunch. Check. Dinner. Check.
You are still churning and burning and serving up creativity like you (ahem) eat it for breakfast every morning.
If no one else remarks upon your creative genius, well, you know what to do.
