If there is one thing in life that is certain, it is uncertainty.
This is certainly not a comforting fact.
And yet what can be comforting is knowing you’ve got what it takes – whatever life hands you, you are going to make something fabulous from it.
You are going to find the gem, the gold, the pearl of great price.
You are going to look that Trojan horse right in the eye and just stare and stare and stare until it turns around and trots itself right on home again.
You know this because you expect good things to come your way.
You always look for the good and because of this you always find it.
For example, let’s say there is a green bowl sitting right next to your avian casa. You think to yourself, “you know, I’ve been feeling peckish and I’ll bet there is something good to eat in there.”
And so….tap, tap, tap….you tiptoe over on your cute pink feet and peer your adorable grey and white feathery head inside.
You don’t hesitate. You don’t waffle. You go all in.
And sure enough, deep down at the bottom of the bowl, you find your Grandma’s delicious home-cooked rice just waiting for you to sample it!
