There is no doubt that, in the greater wild world of eat or be eaten, size matters.
(To be honest, it also doesn’t hurt to have fangs.)
But just because you didn’t pop out pre-equipped with a ready set of full body armor doesn’t mean you can’t be fierce.
VERY fierce.
In fact, being small and sweet-looking can even work to your advantage.
The prey will take one look at your soft fluffy feathery body and assume they are completely safe.
This is one survival of the fittest mistake with no undo button!
Let’s say you spy a prey that is placidly (can we say over-confidently?) sunning itself on a nice green ledge.

You start to tiptoe in its direction.
Maybe the juicy orange prey even sees you. But they don’t worry and – most importantly – they don’t move.
You keep on with your tiptoeing.
Closer. Closer. Even closer.
Just when the prey has been lulled into a state of near-comatose complacency, you make your move.

Awwwww i own budgies and they are hilarious! Parrots are awesome!
They ARE!! 🥰
