Into every day a little (or a lot) of uncertainty may fall.

The same might be said of certain years.

Yet each new sunrise brings with it another choice.

You can tuck your soft downy head back under your soft downy wing.

Or you can rise and shine to greet the day.

The more enthusiastic your greeting, the more likely you are to get an enthusiastic response.

After all, even the grumpiest, coldest, windiest, wintery-est day will be hard-put to withstand the full onslaught of “cuteness overload” without caving.

Before you know it, you will turn its frown upside down and convince it today is going to be a very good day indeed!
