When you live in an interspecies flock, and you are all cooped up together because some (alleged) infectious particles have gotten loose and are on the lam, it is nice to find some hobbies you can all enjoy doing together.

Take “watching,” for example.

Many different species have something they enjoy watching. So you can just gather and watch something together.

For instance, your small(ish) shelled sister enjoys watching grass grow. Literally.

Your olive-shelled brother enjoys watching anything that looks like it could be a lady box turtle.

Your large featherless assistant enjoys watching you.

And you enjoy watching….waffles.

As a bonus, when you watch your waffle very closely, you can a) make sure it doesn’t try to sneak away, and b) make sure your flock mates don’t try to sample it.
