Into every life a little (or sometimes a lot) of rain may fall.
Sometimes the rain will bring its best friend, wind.
Wind may then decide to invite thunder (shudder) and lightning (no thank you).
No matter how you slice it, this typically just doesn’t add up to a good time.
And since the rain, wind, thunder and lightning have no social skills and love to show up unannounced – not to mention uninvited – there isn’t always a lot you can do to keep them away.
But you can at least keep them out.
You can do this with a strategy called “nest proofing.”
Nest proofing is three parts common sense and one part “extreme cuteness.”
Or is that three parts “extreme cuteness” and one part common sense….?
Either way, you need both for a truly effective nest-proofing strategy.
The common sense part ensures you have a ready, steady structure in place to support you through any type of bad weather.
The extreme cuteness part just makes it that much more fun to shelter in place in your own company.
After all, who wouldn’t want to hang out with someone as cute as you?!
