“Body language” is an important skill to develop.

Especially if you are feathery and small (and regularly have to compete with a large featherless rival for delicacies) you will want to master these simple body language basics right away.

For instance, one classic move is to stick your whole face into any dish you want to mark as “off limits.”

The large featherless being is loitering quite close again. I’d better make this dish look less appetizing.

Another classic maneuver is to simply consume the best bits first….and then stand in the middle of them to eat any other tasty morsels you may have missed on your first pass.
