In some countries, diners like to enjoy something minty after a tasty meal.

In other countries, the diners prefer to chew on small seeds or drink a warm brown beverage with white foamy stuff on top.

Still other countries favor the presentation of room temperature liquids in various clear pots (although many of these can make the diners act somewhat strange).

However, the hands-down best after-dinner treat is wicker.

Wicker is both crunchy and crispy.

After chewing wicker, you don’t need to do anything else to clean your beak.

Wicker clears the palate.

And wicker provides a sturdy perch from which to preen your feathers.

Well, that was just delicious. Now I'm ready for some after-dinner wicker.

Nom, nom, nom....
Nom, nom, nom….
This perch is so nice and sturdy, I think I'll do a little preening.

Maybe I'll just have a smidgen more wicker to clear my palate.

What do you mean, “Grandma’s fruit basket?” Everyone knows this is my after-dinner wicker basket. Speaking of which, you should try some, Mom – you’re probably just grumpy because your beak still needs cleaning.
