The best artists aren’t always the ones with the most complicated designs.
There is something to be said for keeping what shows up on the canvas simple and straight from the heart.
Not only will this type of art be most accessible to the fans (and the ladybirds, should any happen by during or after you have completed your masterpiece), but it will also stand the test of time.
You don’t need lots of expensive materials to make great art, either. A strong artistic vision can spring to life under the most austere of circumstances.
Let’s say, for example, that all you have available in terms of art supplies is a large blank canvas and some interesting shiny stuff your large featherless assistant put on it (why, we will probably never know).
Add a dash of ingenuity, a splash of vision, and – of course – a certain super-talented set of artistic feathers – and voila! Great art!
