It takes keen instincts to hear opportunity knocking.

You also need a fair amount of courage, an adventurous spirit, and a splash of luck thrown in.

This way, when opportunity shows up unexpectedly, you can capitalize on it without hesitation.

For instance, you may be sitting on your perch, looking cute (as usual), when suddenly a plate full of crunchy, delicious looking objects shows up.

There is only one problem. The featherless being is also right there, and seems (inexplicably) intent on consuming them herself.

Uh oh – here she comes to guard “her” plate – I’ll just strike a cute pose to distract her.
Now I'll do one of my cute tricks - the "inverted ingestion" maneuver. Flashbulbs are popping now!!
Now I’ll do one of my cute tricks – the “inverted ingestion” maneuver. Yup – she’s so busy flashing and snapping she doesn’t even notice me chomping away!
