Spring is a unique season amongst seasons.

In spring, everything looks fresh and new (on account of how near-daily “spring showers” drench you again almost as soon as you get dry).

But this is for your ultimate evolutionary good, as nothing lures a ladybird like a well-groomed, freshly showered manly manbird.

If showering daily is what it takes, showering daily it is.

Okay, Mom, I'm soaked. Could you stand back a little - I don't want you blocking the ladybirds as they flock in.
