Most waitresses receive at least a modest amount of training before they begin serving guests.

Most….but not all.

So if, for instance, your regular (large, featherless) waitress has no training, and she also happens to enjoy the dishes you like to order, she may assume it is perfectly fine to join you!

Well this does look tasty - not exactly how I ordered it, but close enough.

Time for some evasive maneuvers.
Time for a change in dining strategy.
First I will look to the left....
I will just initiate the “lookout sequence” with a continual scan to the left…
And then to the right....
And then to the right….
That way I know the coast is clear.
Nabbing quick crunchy morsels in between each scan….
Still, I'd better be quick
And looking very ravenous and fierce as I do it.
And keep
And if all else fails, I know I can deflect her with “cuteness” (sends her running for that small rectangular flashing device every time!)

  1. What kind of cheerios are those? I want to feed my tiel some but not sure which is safe for him.

    1. Hi Dorian-they are the branded Cheerios-original (not the ones with sweet added). Cheerios no longer contain GMOs so it is safe to offer them.:) hope it helps-thanks for being such a conscientious parront!! 🙂
