Modern media loves to portray today’s suave and sophisticated suitors as perfectly put together – flawless.
They are dry. Their coif is masterful. Every hair (fur, feather, fin) is in place.
What they don’t show you is the behind-the-scenes.
The truth is, it takes hard work to present the kind of polished presentation that can bring the “look of love” into the eyes of a lady (regardless of species).
Boy was that shower thorough. I’m not wet….I’m sopping wet. I’ll bet all the ladybirds can hear my feathers dripping…..individually.My fans are asking for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes photo shoot highlighting how I prepare to display my signature suave and sophisticated “look of love?”Well, when you put it that way….And these are my very pretty crest feathers when wet, and my very pretty wing feathers when wet, and my very pretty breast feathers when wet….We’d better stop here for today, Mom, or we’ll be deluged with paparazzi and eager ladybirds!
