Little kids enjoy playing a game called “King of the Mountain.”
They think it is fun to scamper up a hill and fight off marauders so they can claim the hill for their very own.
What is even more fun, however, is to play a new and improved game called “King of the Cage.”
While this game requires the principle participant to have feathers, there are still many parts available for those who can’t meet that requirement.
For instance, if you are large and featherless (and just happen to possess an iPhone camera) you can play the part of the official press photographer.
Or you can be one of the (hapless, continually unsuccessful) marauders.
Or you can be the one who cleans the cage to get it ready for another game (an inherently honorable, if less glamorous, role).
The principle is in charge of instructing other players about how the game is played.
