Hi – the large featherless being here.
Here at Casa Feathers n Beak, every day is a great day when it includes feathers.
Short of growing feathers myself (which is looking less likely by the day) I have found the best way to make sure each day contains as many feathers as possible is to stay as close I can to a being who already has feathers.
My chosen being’s name is Pearl.
He has LOTS of fetching feathers.

Sometimes, when he gets tired of certain feathers, he will gift them to me (he lets me know which ones are mine by letting them fall off his body so I can sweep them all up later).
When we go over to visit the Tall Tree and the Small Chef (aka Pearl’s Grandpa and Grandma), he sometimes shares some of his feathers with them in the same way.
This kind of selfless generosity does not go un-rewarded.
The Small Chef frequently bakes Pearl delicacies to thank him for all the feathers and the visit.

While the Small Chef is baking up fresh delicacies, it has become a tradition for Pearl to serenade his featherless family by singing “lead” while the Tall Tree plays background accompaniment.
Needless to say, these concerts are always well-attended by a rapt and devoted crowd of fans (who also anticipate a delicious reception repast to follow).

Happiest Mother’s (and Grandbird-mother’s) Day from all of us here at Love & Feathers to you & all your extra-feathery kids!
xoxo

Thank you and Happy Mother’s Day to you and Grandma!
And to you and yours, Jeanne! 🙂
Hope you had a great Mother’s Day, Shannon and Pearl. From me and my feathery flock. 🐤🐥🐦
We did, Brigitte-hope you and your flock did too! 🙂
