Having a large featherless assistant often means having to adopt a more “hands on” management style.
While the ones without feathers can be trusted to do small routine tasks (such as changing your cage paper and scratching your neck feathers) larger task require the support of your natural leadership abilities.
Take “recycling,” for instance.
How will you know if your assistant has properly recycled everything if you don’t check it out for yourself?
It’s recycling day tomorrow. I’d better check everything out before I have Mom carry the recycling bin out to the curb.Straw = paper + plastic. Check.Plastic (very nice and reflective plastic I might add!) Check.Looks like more plastic. Good. Check.Let me go look in the back now. Yup, all looks good back here too. Some more plastic. Wow, Mom sure does use a lot of plastic! I’ll have to ask for her to focus more on paper next time….better for shredding.Ok, Mom, I’m all done now so you can take my official “recycling expert” press photo.
LOL, watch out you don’t accidentally throw Pearl away LOL
Not a CHANCE. 😉
