For the most part, flock life is smooth sailing (especially when you are the smallest, cutest, most feathery and famous flock member).
But occasionally issues can arise….especially when it comes to individual flock members’ willingness to share their favorite dishes.
Say, for example, that your large featherless flockmate brings home a delectable looking round item with a big hole in the center.
Not only is the design intriguing, but the way she is trying (poorly) to conceal its existence from you makes it clear this is a delicacy you must try.
Well shoot. You’d think this item was made of waffles, the way Mom has been guarding it!But I knew she would eventually have to step away, and that would be my chance.I have to say – I can see why she likes this dish. It is much better than most of the stuff she eats. Not too sweet, not too soft….really it is just right. And with such an intriguing presentation, it is clearly a dish tailor-made for the gourmand of the household. Not to mention that it sure tastes much better than those small round blue things she tried to get me to sample earlier. Blech.Oh boy, here she comes now. She looks pretty grumpy. As usual.Don’t make me break out the “advanced delicacy claiming tactics,” Mom! Take one step closer and it’ll be my other end hovering over the tasty round thing….!
