Day 206: Hunting Cheerios

As prey, the “Cheerio” is not for beginning hunters.

This is because Cheerios are experts at hiding.

They can fit in the narrowest nooks and crannies.

They also become even more flexible when damp (such as with warm almond milk).

And right in the middle of each Cheerio is a big hole – which makes holding onto one especially challenging.

This is why, when you spy a stand of Cheerios, you must be extra cagey so as not to spook them.

Although they do have some kind of exterior defense....kind of reminds me of another one of my favorites, "plastic bag."
