Flock mealtimes can sometimes be challenging when different species cohabitate together.

One flock member likes one kind of lunch, and another flock member prefers a totally different kind of lunch.

And the one – and ONLY one – thing they all agree on is that all other flock members except them have terrible taste in lunch.

This can lead to surreptitious “marauding” …. plundering, pillaging, or otherwise raiding others’ lunch selections, the better to quickly get rid of them.

What, Mom? There's no marauding going on here - I assure you. I'm just curious about what the small shelled being enjoys.

Oh, but wait a minute....what is this section of pure crinkly goodness?

Nom crunch nom....this is rather nice! Figures it would take a gourmand like me to notice this dish's real appeal.

Uh oh.....I hear her coming back. I'll just play it cool.
Uh oh…..I hear her coming back. I’ll just pretend I’m scanning the perimeter, looking for any signs of the “mystery watercress marauder.”
