From the outside looking in, there may not appear to be a direct link between having feathers and sensing spacecraft.

However, as it turns out, the same natural high-pitched communication techniques that work so well for calling waffles, millet, hard-boiled eggs, and the large featherless beings are also surprisingly effective with aliens.

Understandably, beings who do not share this ability may from time to time become jealous.

But since you are performing such an important scientific and public safety service (and you also had the good sense to hire a Mommyguard just in case) you never have to worry about personal security.

While I can’t pinpoint exactly why yet, my foolproof inner instincts are telling me a spacecraft is nearby.
Wow - I'm never wrong! There it comes now!

Mom, you’d better let me do the communicating from here – my register is much better for speaking to aliens.
