Once per year, it is customary for each featherless being to have a ‘special day.’
On this day, other featherless beings may gather as well, which can make it more special.
When it becomes really special, of course, is when a being with feathers arrives.
This is because everything is better with feathers.
Victuals taste better, the party photos look better, the music is better (on account of how beings with feathers love to sing loudly at parties), and even the preparation and cleanup is more fun!

Happy birthday to the Small Chef from her smallest (yet biggest) fan!

It was your grandbird’s idea (of course – he has all the best ideas!) His large featherless assistant was just in charge of carrying it out for him! Happy birthday! xo
