In developing a new skill, everyone has to start somewhere.
“Poaching” is no exception.
One day you are a total beginner.
But then the next day, you get a little better.
In time, you may even carve out a place as one of poaching’s all-time greats!
One of the hardest skills in the art of poaching to learn is to multi-task with your eyes. Here, you want to keep one eye on the item being poached….And one eye on your fellow poachers. You also want to try to disguise the actual amount you are ingesting as you poach. This, of course, is so you can innocently claim “who me?” if the original diner starts complaining about part of their dinner suddenly disappearing. After all, any poacher can just open their beak and dig in.But only a select few can claim to have mastered the art of the “perfect poach.”

Pearl’s goal is always to look as cute as possible (which of course is very very cute!) while poaching, Tammy! 🙂
