When you have feathers, musical talent is just a given.
And since everyone loves being sung to, when you do have singing talent, it is important to sing as frequently (and as loudly) as possible so that the most beings can benefit.
While occasionally you may agree to sing backing vocals – to encourage newer singers to spread their musical, um, wings – mostly you should sing “lead” to best showcase your abilities.
Here, it is also helpful to find a reliable accompanist.
Selecting one of the large featherless beings has certain advantages, since they are docile and slavishly devoted to you (and some are even tall enough to serve as a built in “stage” so every fan has a good view of your performance).
