There is no doubt “nesting season” can get competitive.

Even when you clearly have the advantage in every way – from the prettiest, sleekest feathers to the poshest, comfiest casa – sometimes the ladybirds might still have trouble making up their minds.

So then you need to break out the big guns to squash your competition once and for all.

This surefire competitive solution is called (in the corporate world, at least) “Outside the Box Nesting.”

Nesting season sure is competitive this year. But I'll just show up my rivals with a demonstration of "Out of the Box Nesting."

It is extremely roomy - a ladybird would have room to bring all her lady things in with her.
