There is a reason ladybirds are so choosy about who to make their eggs with.

Not only are “eggs” a near-universally prized delicacy, but fluffy feathery chicks are so cute and innocent they are sitting ducks for prying paparazzi.

So as a ladybird, what you really need is a “Nest Owl.”

A “Nest Owl” is that manliest of manbirds who can watch and secure the nest at every hour….and from every angle.

Here I am, the manliest of manbirds with a posh and fab nesting site ripe for the picking.

And yet - inexplicably - there are no ladybirds in sight as far as the eye can see.

I am perfect at "plumping the pillows" so the ladybirds will be very comfy as they sit on our eggs.

So what could still be missing......AHH. I've got it.
