When you are petite, feathery and very cute, it goes without saying that you will need an assistant to keep the admiring hordes at bay.

But if you choose a large featherless being for your assistant, you may find yourself having to do a surprising amount of assisting yourself.

Take “making tea,” for instance.

While your large featherless assistant fixates (inexplicably) on the strange-smelling dried stuff inside the tea packets, you know where the real gold is – in those crispy packets and the crunchy paper the tea is packaged in.

Uh oh. Looks like Mom's planning to make tea "her way" again.

Okay, Mom, like I showed you - first, grip the cardboard firmly with your beak.
