Sometimes in your official role as celebrity spokes(bird)model, you are called upon to greet guests from very exotic places.

Say, for example, your large featureless press secretary has received a request for you to meet with a new guest from exotic New Zealand.

Well hello there! My name is Pearl - my Mom tells me your name is "Kiwi."

You know, my people hail from just one country over from yours - Australia.

You don’t have a large featherless assistant? No worries – I’m sure we can find you one while you’re here – the supply is quite plentiful.
And - while we're on the subject - might I ask where you've hidden your wings?
You know, I can’t help but notice you seem to have a unique way of folding your wings and tail – I can’t seem to spot either of them no matter how hard I look.
You don't have a tail....wow, you really don't! That's okay - I just lost a few tail feathers myself - why don't you use those until yours grows back?
