One of the best things about being very popular and feathery is how everyone always wants to be around you.
Then they want to introduce all their feathery friends to you.
Then the friends of your feathery friends want to be around you too.
And sometimes, some of those friends just happen to be fetching and feminine…
Hi there! I haven’t seen you in awhile – and might I say how fine you are looking these days. More like me every day….You have someone you’d like me to meet? You brought her?It is my great pleasure to meet you, Miss Red Bird! And may I just say how fine and feathery I am….I mean you are….looking today! What’s that? She likes waffles? She’d like to share a waffle with me?Well that is, um, ah, well, you see, we seem to be, um, out of waffles at the moment….In fact, it’s the most awful thing….there’s this worldwide waffle shortage…I can’t believe you haven’t heard about it!Mom! Pssst! MOM! Hide the waffles. H.I.D.E. the W.A.F.F.L.E.S. Yes, you heard me right. How about sharing a sunflower seed instead? You like sunflower seeds, don’t you?

Your postings are so captivating and inspiring. I am the proud “father” of 7 “teils and as you can imagine, I believe they are the most personable birds to be found anywhere. Keep the postings coming and may you both enjoy many years of good health, love and companionship.
Oh that is fabulous, Sam – 7 feathery loves! Aren’t you the lucky one! 🙂 Thank you so much for the sweet well wishes and so glad you are enjoying Pearl’s daily adventures! 🙂
Squeak likes to think his is boss but his 7 parakeet brothers and sisters let him know whats what pretty quickly. He also has two cockatiel brothers and sisters that don’t buy his bologna either. That doesn’t keep
squeak from trying to rule the roost however. Julie

OMG!! Your pearl and my squeak could be twin brothers. Does Pearl have an attitude? Squeak sure does. It why we love him though. Julie
Pearl is a true “alpha” for sure! It is his way …. or his way. 😉 And yes that’s why we love them so much! 🙂

Well of course not! An alpha must always stay on guard to keep their status active! 🙂
