With a now clearly established link between having feathers and possessing natural acting talent, Pearl unfurls his acting wings even further with this, his third one-avian play, entitled “Phantom of the Molt.”
Of course, in the original version, the setting was an opera house and the cast was full of featherless beings.
Zzzzzzz.
This new “modern” version of “Phantom” eschews a stage altogether.
It also scales back the cast to focus the spotlight on the most interesting character, played by a naturally grey-cloaked star (with feathers).
The (grey) curtain abruptly closes.
