Many beings (both with and without feathers) aspire to start a career in something called “supermodeling.” Yet this profession’s exacting job requirements (“hold still,” “look very pretty”) cull out almost as many candidates as they draw in. Only the creme de la creme make it all the way to “supermodeling” status. In the avian world, successful super(bird)models also know that micromanagement is the key to career longevity. After all, let’s say you take a(nother) very pretty picture, but then your large featherless assistant chooses to display it to your adoring fans in an unattractive frame?

You micromanage so well Pearl! And don’t worry only a Manly Man such as you could pull of the pink frame!
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Jeanne (for the record, both Pearl and his proud mommy wholeheartedly agree!)
