There is nothing like being born with feathers to ensure you excel at all kinds of athletic activities.

For instance, “flinging.”

In the Olympics, they have a more convoluted name for this sport  – “discus throwing.”

But basically, all you have to do is pick something up and fling it as far as you can.

Due to the short-sightedness of the Olympics committee (who seems to assume only featherless beings can be good at this kind of activity) beings with feathers who enjoy flinging have had to conduct their championship matches elsewhere.

You just need a few things to qualify: feathers, something to fling, and a large featherless assistant (to carry out routine tasks like bringing along water and towels).

Oh, and if possible, you want to adopt a fearsome headdress for the match itself – to intimidate your competition, of course.

First, I'll just have my large featherless assistant fetch me a refreshing drink of water.

Fearsome headdress, check.

Flingable item, check.

A little snack (for the road), check.

And now, amass sufficient beak buildup in preparation to fling!
Let the flinging championships begin!
At the end of each championship match, the press takes a photo of each contestant with their "flings."

Judges must work quickly to tally results (before the contestants start to get hungry again).

  1. The crowd roar! A petition needs to be filed with the Olympic Committee for their short sightedness!
