Dining with Grandma and Grandpa is always fun.

For starters, there are fewer (no) rules about boring topics like “table manners.”

Also, the cuisine is much better than what your large featherless assistant prepares at home.

Plus, you get a full meal-length dose of “doting” from both grandparents (regardless of which plate you happen to be dining from).

Grandma loves it when I dine with her.

She always makes sure to dish out enough for two to share.

Plus, she knows exactly how to make a diner feel welcomed (and admired).
Plus, she knows exactly how to make a fetching and feathery grandbird feel at home.
So does Grandpa.
Grandpa does too.
Even better, I can have as many "seconds" as I want.

Best of all, I get to enjoy my meal to the soothing, esteem-lifting sounds of praise for my sleek feathers, my healthy appetite, my cute pink feet, my round black eyes, my sweet curved beak.....
Best of all, I get to enjoy my meal to the esteem-lifting stereo sounds of grandparental praise!
