Today is a very special day.
It is the Tall Tree’s birthday.
AND it is also Pearl’s mommy’s brother’s birthday.
Yup – Pearl’s Grandpa and Uncle were born on the same day!
Like Pearl, they are both finely featured and very handsome (in spite of having no feathers – some things can’t be helped).
Pearl doesn’t get to see his uncle very often, but he sends him his very best and most feathery birthday wishes.
As for the Tall Tree, well, only one dish will do for the birthday celebration:
“Waffles for Two.”
And of course there are plenty of other festive things to do after brunch concludes.
