“Patience” and “parrots” tend to be mutually exclusive terms.

I would use the word “always,” but as there are still some parrots in the world I haven’t met, I suppose there is always an outside chance one of them – somewhere – is patient.

At least in theory.

Here is a perfect example: let’s say you are about to painstakingly peel a hard-boiled egg for someone feathery’s breakfast.

Or not.

Oh boy! Mom caught a hard-boiled egg! She’s peeled enough of it for me to get started.
I'm glad she finally got my hint to stop trying to peel. She was interfering with my meal.
