Some beings just have bellies made for kissing….particularly if they happen to come pre-equipped with very fluffy, soft and downy feathers.
While there may be other soft, fluffy, feathery beings in this world who might not appreciate having their bellies kissed every. five. minutes, luckily for parrots this activity falls under the general heading of “Parrot Praise,” which they are always ready to graciously accept.
Frequent belly kisses can create a special indented area in the belly – this is helpful for newcomers as well, so they know the very softest area on the belly to plant their kisses.
